Doris Kwesiga is a research fellow with a multi-disciplinary academic background in Social Work and Health Services Research. Her previous areas of work include research on maternal and newborn health, sexual and reproductive health, and HIV/AIDS, among others. This has been in both rural and urban settings, as well as in multi-country studies, and they are currently still her areas of interest. Her role in these studies has been predominantly on the qualitative side, but she is also trained in quantitative research methods.

Doris previously worked at the School Of Public Health, Makerere University, also in a research fellow capacity, and at Child Health and Development Center, Makerere University. She is currently a PhD student at both Makerere and Uppsala Universities, studying the reporting of pregnancy and adverse pregnancy outcomes.
