Aggrey is a Grants manager at the Center for Health, Human Rights and Development (CEHURD). He is a brand, marketing and visibility professional; a seasoned fundraiser, grant and organisational resource mobiliser, livelihood and health programming designer. He is an experienced grants, contracts and partnerships development specialist for the NGO and commercial sector. He has worked for local and international NGOs for over a decade in grants and contracts management, communications, marketing and partnerships development. He has accumulated another decade of newsroom experience; creating content for the national and international media as writer and editor, on critical development matters.
Francis Serunjogi is the Programme Manager, Community Empowerment Programme. He is skilled in lobbying, mass media communication, research, community outreach and facilitating workshops. Mr. Serunjogi coordinates and facilitates training sessions for district stakeholders –such as health workers, community health, and people living with HIV (PLHIV) networks– in order to build capacity and assure best practices within communities across the country.
Mr. Serunjogi has experience in overcoming health and human rights challenges. He works to ensure that laws are used as tools for advocacy and for the realization of health and human rights. He Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and he holds a Masters in Public Health at Uganda Management Institute.
Adrian Ddungu is a certified public accountant working a Finance manager at the Center for Health Human Rights and Development ( CEHURD). His foremost areas of interest currently include: Project Financial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Financial Consultancy.
Adrian has in the past managed an array of projects from recognized donors including but not limited to UNDP, European Union, IPPF, USAID, IDRC among others. Adrian has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration BBA from Makerere University, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Uganda (ICPAU) and currently a student of tax CTA Certified Tax Advisor at the Institute of Public Accountants of Uganda.
James Kaweesa is a Computer Scientist with more than nine years of experience. He is a knowledgeable technical professional, well versed in multiple IT disciplines such as computer networks in LANs and WANs, server administration window based and Linux, computer hardware and software installation, intercom, setup and maintenance, web development with PHP.
James holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a certificate in Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). He has worked as a field technician at Internet service provider (ISP) firms in Uganda. He has worked at CPAR, CAPAIDS, Prudential Insurance and IT consult and Engineering Services Limited.
