The Center for Health, Human Rights and Development (CEHURD) is a legal and human rights organisation advancing social justice and human rights in health. Our legal aid clinic supports people whose health rights have been violated, and this work often exposes our staff, case handlers, volunteers and clients to distressing experiences.

CEHURD is seeking a suitably qualified psychosocial professional or firm, on a 12-month retainer, to provide confidential, rights-based and trauma-informed psychosocial support.

Individual professionals or psychosocial agencies with an advanced qualification in psychology, counselling, social work or a related field, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with Uganda’s mental-health and social protection landscape are encourage to apply.
