According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), UHC means that all people have access to the health services they need (prevention, promotion, treatment, rehabilitation and palliation) without the risk of financial hardship when paying for them.

In this brief, we highlight key health and human rights issues presented to Members of Parliament at a retreat hosted by CEHURD from  22nd September 24th 2021 at Admas Hotel in Entebbe. The briefing note goes ahead to highlight key SRHR issues and the Right to Health, identifying challenges, best practices and opportunities during Covid-19 for future planning and programming on SRHR in health emergencies and discuss responsibilities and areas for joint collaborations to ensure supportive regulatory frameworks and improved access to information and services.
