With support from International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), CEHURD has developed a training manual/guide to provide a step-by-step, hands-on guide to the training of health service providers in using the abortion Harm Reduction Model and medical abortion self-care.
The training guide aims at providing clarity and guidance to the user who should at the end of utilizing the guide, be able to describe the concept of Abortion Harm Reduction, explain steps of implementing the Abortion Harm Reduction, describe the concept of medical abortion self-care, explain the relevance of abortion self-care in improving access to safe abortion within the legal and regulatory framework of Uganda.
