Consultancy Service to Conduct a Project Baseline Survey

The Center for Health, Human Rights and Development (CEHURD) invites applications from qualified consultants to conduct a baseline survey for its project, “Addressing Persistent Challenges and Barriers for Women’s Physical and Mental Health in Six Districts in Uganda Using Tested Legal, Community Empowerment, and Research Approaches (2026–2028).”

The baseline survey will be conducted in Kamuli, Mayuge, Mukono, Buikwe, Arua, and Yumbe districts and will establish benchmark data on women’s and girls’ access to justice, physical and mental health services, accountability mechanisms, referral systems, and community participation. The findings will inform project implementation, monitoring, and measurement of outcomes throughout the project period.

The consultancy is expected to run for approximately 60 days between July and August 2026. The selected consultant will report to the Head of Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL).

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS; TB Contact Tracing Officer

Centre for Health, Human Rights and Development (CEHURD) is seeking to recruit a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of TB Contact Tracing Officer.

The TB Contact Tracing Officer will work closely with Facility-Based Health Workers and Community Health Workers attached to TB Diagnostic and Treatment Units (TDUs) to conduct contact tracing visits for confirmed TB cases. The officer will ensure that eligible contacts receive TB Preventive Therapy (TPT) in accordance with the Operations Guidelines for TB Contact Investigation (2019). The overall goal of this position is to increase TB detection and treatment/cure rates while reducing TB transmission within communities.

Call for Applications for a Youth Researcher to Conduct an End Term Evaluation for the Generation Gender Programme in Uganda

The Generation Gender programme encourages decision-makers to increasingly adopt and be accountable for gender-transformative and youth-inclusive policies and laws through coalition building and capacity strengthening in monitoring, reporting and advocacy.

As the programme approaches its conclusion, partner organisations are eager to assess the outcomes of their efforts and document lessons learned from both successes and challenges. This evaluation will help enhance future programming and inform advocacy strategies.
