Raymond Ongom is a lawyer with an interest in emerging health related strategic cases which warrant litigation.  He holds  Bachelor of Laws (Honour) degree from Uganda Christian University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. Before joining the CEHURD, he worked with KSMO Advocates, a Corporate and Commercial law firm in Kampala, as a Legal Assistant.

He has been moved by the Constitutional Petition No. 16 of 2011; Centre for Health, Human Rights and Development and Three (3) Others –V– Attorney General – which saw the Constitutional Court keenly granting two forms of justice; corrective and distributive justice. He is involved in legal research, drafting court documents and preparation of legal briefs.
